    Across the world 80% of wastewater is currently not treated1, raising risks to human health, compromising access to safe water and threatening freshwater ecosystems.

    There has been positive progress towards increasing the renewable energy share of total consumption but faster change is needed towards clean energy sources.

    SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

    This goal focuses on building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and fostering innovation. Improving operational efficiency is one route for industry to become more sustainable and productive.
